Register EU4

I had register CK2 and all is ok, CK2 is in list of my registerd game.
EU4 instead don't show in my register game. here what I do:

1) I bought EU4 at 14 august, it is the normal game, it isn't the preorder version
2) I go in My game and in combobox of games there was not EU4, but there was "EU4: preorder", so i "selected EU4: preoder" and inserted the key from steam
3) EU4: Preorder was in my list of game registered, therefore all is ok
4) Yesterday (20 August), in my list of games registered there was not more EU4 but there was only CK2
5) Then in combobox i see that there is EU4 (normal), therefore i select it and insert the key from steam and push register button, but nothing happened and my list of game registered contain only ck2

I am having a problem very similar to this. Registered as the pre-order despite not being the pre-order version since there was no regular. I still have the EU IV pre-order registered, but it will not allow me to remove it or register with the regular EU IV on the list. For some reason this doesn't let my EU IV properly connect and every game tells me that it is "modified" or from another account.

Same to me, but in the background there has to be a connection otherwise we would not see the subforums.

I have the opersit proplem i only got the normly EU IV, I order mine the June 29, full pack


update..

I have hade a grate dirlog whed the suport. and i found out that i hade the full game just Steam wood let me se it. so
Thanks a lot the posen from suport the show me were to find the DLC's.

You all have the game registered or you couldn't post in the EU4 Tech Support forum, where I've just moved this thread from.

Click on MyGames above and see if EU4 is in your Hidden Icons list - Ganf I checked yours and it is there.

Same situation.

Bought game on 17th; EUIV Preorder was only thing to choose so that is what I registered. Using the same Steam key that allowed me to register pre-order EUIV will not allow me to register normal EUIV. It is not in my hidden games list.

I'm having the same problem as well.
I registered mine as the EUIV Preorder because it was the only option available.
I bought my copy on Steam a day after it came out.

That is because we decided to do things a little different, and it is not a preorder now it is an early registration. After the initial release period you will only be able to register the normal version even if you preordered, but now even if you did not pre order but have bought the game in this initial release period you register it in the preorder category and get the extra medal.

The change was made for technical issue with steam, we apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Yes i have in Game section of My Game, but In "game registerd" section of My Game i have only the image of ck2

I have the EU IVre-Order in the "my games section" but, EU IV is not in my "registered games" section.

Don't worry if you have the medal like you both have then you have full access to the EUIV sub forums.
Wait till after the initial release period and see what shows up. If you still have an issue then, feel free to contact me and I will sort you out.

As Castellon said: You can only have either EU4 or EU4 pre order registered. Both grants the same access and only differs in with the icon shown under your avatar.

This is because it is sadly not possible for us to distinguish pre-order keys from regular ones, and could only go by when you registered the game.

i bought the eu4 extreme edition and cant register as well. I tried both codes what was shipped with Eu4ed, both the same: "invalid key for".

Not sure what you mean by "both codes", but if you are trying to use the Steam activation code here, don't. It is for that purpose only, nothing to do with these forums. Once you have the game in your library there, click on View CD Key and use that key to register here.

And make sure you paste that code into either "Europa Universalis IV" or "Europa Universalis IV: Pre-order", not say "EUIV" Call to Arms event".

I wanted to register my game, because i wanted to post a bug and suddenly it told me, i cannot register, because i need to register Cruisador Kings 2 first?!? (This game is connected to a meta server?!? wft???) I wanted to do this, but this game doesnt appear on the list of registerable games....
I have no idea, what they want from me, and this bug is really frustrating.

It doesn't appear on the list because you already have EU4 registered. It doesn't show here because you have it in your hidden icons list.

Just to clarify: I bought the game on Aug 2, but didn't register on forums until much later than that (probably 2013-08-25). Because of that I only get the EU4 badge and not the EU4 pre-order badge?
