Could someone take some screenshots of some regions and post them here. I want a visual look at them. Like just some from... the Romans at the height of their power. Thanks,

BTW: If this is an unreasonable request lemme know. I don't want to put anyone out of their way. :D

Not a tech support issue, so moving to main forum.

Not an in game screenshot but this is a good map that was posted earlier.

Clicking on a province also tells you in the information window what region it is in.

My main question is why are some regions so large while a few are only 3 to 4 provinces. There seems to be a little arbitrariness in the map such as Belgica at 3 provinces while Terraconesis is about 20. Some regions makes sense geographically and ethnically while others are a mystery.

It seems to have taken the Roman Empire province system and bastardized it with the later diocese system of the late Roman Empire which explains a few of the oddities but not all.

It should be possible to create your own regions. That is bundle provinces together into regions at your own choice.

Characters could then, based on the Finesse / experience / something else, differ in how many provinces in a region they can govern without loss of efficiency. So if you want every province to be its own region, then please go ahead, but it will require a large number of governors. At the other extreme, the whole empire could consist of one single region, with only one governor, but this region risk then of being run very inefficiently (especially by a mediocre governor).

So the player can freely set up his/her own administrative empire.

How about that?

Agreed, it'd be fantastic to be able to modify regions in-game. It would require a few more lines in each savegame, but nothing major.

It would certainly open up event opportunities, too.

In the next update, they ought to make it to where if you own and a fellow country that have -100 relations and you both own provinces in the same region, you both have cassus belli on one another. That'd be cool, maybe... Could get aggravating, but it's a good thought...
