Many regions around the world are known for certain features, resources, or inhabitants. Currently the game only reflects raw resources, and features; my suggestion is to include certain inhabitants or less obvious "resources". For instance certain areas of the world are known for producing spectacular horses, and while the local tags may have national ideas to reflect that if an outsider were to conquer the region those horses would just mysteriously disappear. I propose that outstanding regions grant modifiers for their owners: Arabia or Andalucia giving bonuses to cavalry to reflect the superior horses, Nepal giving bonuses to shock to reflect Gurkhas being inducted into the army, Bengal perhaps giving a bonus to manpower to reflect their rice fields apparently famous enough to warrant an NI, and certainly there are many more that I'm not aware of. This could also serve to free up an NI slot for those local nations who would get an overlap, potentially helping to further flavor idea sets that are strained to reflect their historical range of abilities.
