The 4 Ages were a great addition to the game. I think they can be a great tool to further diversify game-play in different regions/religions.

The suggestion is the following:

Add 2 abilities in each age. 1 slot gives an ability determined by your religion, the other slot gives an ability determined by in which regional nation your capital is.

Just as an example:
Age of Reformation: Fight for the Soul (Catholic, Reformed, Protestant, Anglican only): +10% morale vs heretics
Age of Discovery: Art of War (Asia Eastern Regions): 1 less stability hit for No Casus Belli war.


It would be bring some extra flavor and diversity to all parts of the world.

Although I have to admit, adding 80* new abilities is quite a lot :)

*(7 denominations+13 region nations x 4 ages)
