Great map. While I'm sure you get some heat from some people even still, it is a much better map than Paradox's.

BTW, I hope EU4 has more depth to its regional representation, better than CK2 had. But still I understand fully Paradox for avoiding regional claims and making a map that upsets everybody instead of going for one argument over others. Too foggy period of history to know.

Actually, while CK2 period is indeed to foggy, those of us who read history for fun know that the 15th century balkan is probably the least foggy place in europe at that time considering how much written data we have because of the presence and interests of the three great powers focused on the Balkan region; Venice, Hungary and the Ottomans

We know which house had the worst looking gatefence in the village of Zvecaj, north of the small fort-town of Jajce, let alone the locations and borders of state and local provinces :)

Its not that the devs want to be neutral, its just that they don't really care :)
Its the Balkans, just as now as since the dawn of time...noone gives a f***

Actually you would be surprised, ive been barely getting any heat for this mod, at all. First of all, its a small mod, not many people are even aware of it, second i think Balkanites are generally brought to tears that theres a mod that treats Balkans with same detail as Scotland or Sweden, for once, so they dont complain - almost at all, in 2 years - or whatever - ive only had one serious (nationalistic) compliant - that was killed off, surprisingly by people who work with me (non Balkanites) and simple players, who stood in my defense, and apart from some hate mail (which is to be expected nowdays if you do anything at all publicly) its been very quiet. Ive had more blatant nationalistic whining/complaints about some German/French stuff, or Baltics/Belarus/Poland than Balkans.

well your balkan provinces are certainly way more accurate than native eu3,oh and there is only one color croatia should have and thats pink, since we are cute and fluffy people with hungarian masters in PU
+1 for map mod from mah:D

and btw nationalism for provinces is always good, cause it will make you find actual truth who owned what and when, its healthy in long run to find out the true borders :p

As for national ideas for south slavs they can always give us some sort of revolt stuff for example
If your core provinces are conqured by another nation add +5% revoltrisk to those core provinces
something about PU that makes u harder to integrate, and if you fail to integrate every 50 years u get -1 stab hit.(ofc make Croatia in PU with Hungary so i dont need to get in the game everytime and do that) :D,
dunno how converting cultures works in eu4 now but since most of south slavs speak same language(if not the same) make it so its easier to add as accepted culture or easier assimilation, cheaper cores on them... then u can add difrent bonuses depending on religion u have. and etc etc.

and i almost forgot give us bonus to fighting since we are elite fightin squads of peasants that fought turks with spoons and forks :D

am also more interested for more Balkan scenarios, unification of slavic countries, new ties with neighbours, Zrinski Frankopan deal with Ottomans, other deals with Serbia, and especially, Dubrovnik republic as a player, with strong covert ties to Ottomans, very big purse and excellent espionage system like Farnessina had.
For those that don't know, Dubrovnik had one of the first pharmacies in EU, invented quarantine and was the first country that recognized independence of the United States of america.

Also, Montenegro and albania had some very interesting events...
