Regarding the fact that people only complain about their own country/area.
I guess it is true because most of us are only familiar in detail with our close surrounding. I have no clue about specifics of Sweden's or Japan's provinces and exact city names and borders. However that does not mean I would not like them to be accurate, since I do learn from this kind of games.
For example, I have played my first CK2 game as King of Scotland and knew nothing about Scotland then besides it has hills and highlanders, it had William Wallace (didn't know exact time) and it was north of England. Now I know Scotland's provinces and areas, highlands, islands, mcDonalds, Alba, I know when and why about William Wallace and Stewards and so on. I didn't find all that out throught the game, but some of it I did and for the rest I was inspired by the gamepay to find out. Now this was just one example and if those provinces, borders and political facts were incorrect, what I learned would be wrong. Next up I may play as Sweden and learn more about that, but if someone like me was to learn something about Croatia from CK2 map, I don't think would be very correct and I myself find it silly to look at because errors are significant.
That's why I argue that we need as much accuracy on map and in political facts as possible and Croatian being in PU with Hungary is one of those.
As for Green color, well, that's subjective thing, can't really argue about that beside that I would expect something else

good color choice, its really distinctive. I like it, although would have liked a orange-red/or baby blue color more, but that one is great as well

Can someone post a link to a mod for Eu3 Chronicles that enable more customization in the Balkan, historically more correct.

Please, please, stop, im blushing! Youll get me all emotional (i only cry at the weddings). Pixy is like a living god (in Japan i hear), though my football club is that "other" one, with black and white colors, we dont like those reders too much.
In any case here is my current offer on Croatia:
I thought, well, if Pope can take Austrias color and throw in banana tint, then i can take Croatia's white, use it as a base and throw in a bit of red tint. Kind of inspired by chessboard thingy.
Are those EU3 provinces/maps? Seems pretty detailed compared to size and number of provinces I saw so far i EU4.
Of course its a mod, my own personal thing (check my signature). Map modding is kind of my thing (among other stuff i do).

Irish, Welsh, English, Scott, Norweigens -- with minorities of nationalized opinions. And yes some other European countries have issues on inner nationalism/naming, the Balkans are this magnified by 10.

Now the solution to this problem I feel is when a certain culture group siezes an area -- for ex. in EU3 Ottomans can rename provinces with the decision -- do that. So when Turks own areas, its the turkish form, when Croats own Croatia, croatian form. Hungarians, hungarian form, Austrians -- German or connical Latin.

Ive seen Germans behave about 20X worse, but you see, the thing is, i know those are 12-15 years old kids, so i dont judge entire nation by their behavior.

Im not saying Balkanists are worse, I think all nationalism is bad to begin with, it leads to ethnocentrism. What I am saying is it is magnified by 10 in the balkans, because it literally is bloodshed. It really is magnified there, I do not mean the fervent passions, I mean the actions taken. Not that I'm saying the IRA, is not doing the same thing, it is just not on such a large scale.

Looks to me western european history, both old and new world, is by magnitudes more disastrous and pronounced in all it's crimes and splendour than anything that happend in the balkans.
