Will someone with low loyalty get even lower loyalty even if I am changing them to a 'better' position? Like if I change a researcher to a governor shouldn't they become MORE loyal?? The AAR seems to point out that whenever you change their jobs they lose loyalty? However I take it they gain loyalty (Depending on job given?) when they get a new job?

Well we know that at a certain threshold that person will not give up there post or job. And its possible that the person that you would move from Researcher to Governor did not want to have his job changed like that.

I wonder if the low loyalty individual can be given a gift by the state in order to improve loyalty.

It was the way to do it in CK anyways. But still promoting them to a more important post should imo have the effect of improving their loyalty greatly. I hope it is so in the game.

I would certinly hate to promote them to a very vital post and then have them turn on me. I would rather that their loyalty rise first before rewarding them.

I have a sneaking suspicion this is one of thise things that cannot be gotten right until after its been released and the first patch comes out. So whatever the answer is noww may not be the same answer after release. but I guess that really doesnt matter does it.

Isn't loyalty linked to being part of families (so if the a genral revolts his brothers go with him)? i would love that... i would love it even more if there were real factions within the empire (factions based on issues). I wonder if this is something that can be modded in.

I imagine that there must be some way to improve loyalty. Maybe by money or power (though I think it would have the opposite effect.)

I think loyalty should improve considerably when you give somebody influential position. After all, it was often the way that kings appeased their strong subjects...

I'm wondering what about Rome and consulship, though. How is loyalty handled during republic and change of consul every year. Will we see rebellions flaring up anyway

can happen that after you rewarded them will their loyalty level sink, they are rich and famous now, so why should they listen to you? :p
