I know, my prestige would take quite a hit, but not having to click through multiple menues and on multiple character portraits would be well worth the prestige hit.

I don't know, maybe I am the only one. But I really like big parties with all my vassals and courtiers.

Yeah I asked for this a while back too when I accidentally misclicked from zoning out while doing it and giving away a county or something.

The big parties is by the by for RP, gameplay wise the more you invite the more chance you can get a 100 op with a vassal so I do carousing first with any new ruler and invite all vassals with low or neg opinion each year.

Sure, after we get "pillage all" button for tribals and nomads. And after proper "redistribute titles" decision. And after rework of "chase away useless courtiers but not councilors, commanders, friends, concubines and dynasty member"

So I feel a little bad for mentioning a hypothetical of a thing that sounds a little grandiose in scope when I haven't started work on it yet nor am I likely to particularly soon, but... I keep thinking about (like, for about two years now) and sketching out details of, a mod that would take the small feast/large feasts/summer fair/grand hunt/etc out of being Intrigue or targeted decisions and a lot (though not all) of the timed-pulse WoL events and instead every season, you get an option for what to do that season. IE, in one winter the options might be: "Hold a great feast", "Secluded Contemplation", "Hear legal cases", "Delve into Scholarship". Idea would be to have more than four possible options per season, which four of those get presented as options being random except that the one most related to your current focus is guaranteed to appear (so Hunting focus always gets Grand Hunt as an option in fall, Carousing always lets you pick a feast/party option if eligible, etc. Would also add a "take a vacation" option in most seasons when not at war, would mean a Regency and event chain similar to Pilgrimage/etc except much smaller in scope, with the main effect being a more reliable way to remove Stressed (though Diligent characters might have trouble relaxing, non-Diligent characters risk Slothful if they're going on vacation a lot, or moving on the Ambitious -> (none) -> Content track...)

Anyway, maybe a little out of scope, but it's just something I think about a lot, and couldn't resist mentioning. In context, this'd mean instead of watching for when the cooldown ticks precisely and then inviting all those people individually, just pick 'Throw a party' as that season's event whenever it's an option and have it mostly auto-invite people (probably best if it skips the lunatic cannibals, unsure whether skipping the wroth paranoids who tend to get punchy should be automatic).

Yeah, I almost killed my vassals instead of inviting them, because the "Ploting" button is directly below the invite button.
But at least that allows me to quickly see, if I even can invite them.
So sad when you want to invite friends but they don't answer because they are already occupied.

Do you get the friendship option if you invite 3 or more? Never seen it tbh, but then I stopped inviting more than 1.

Yeah, I've frequently gotten it at parties where I've invited dozens of people. Just totally random who with, and whether it gets picked. (given the rates it happens, I suspect it picks a random person first and if they're ineligible (like if they're already a friend), it just doesn't show you anything)

Frequently? I wish I was that lucky, I always invite everyone (yes, poor mouse) and rarely get a friendship.
(But I always make sure to reward my new friends by putting them in the council.)

While that would be nice, I actually don't thing doing so would be a good idea. At first I went to the trouble of inviting as many people as I could. Then I discovered that by only inviting my most important vassals I increased the odds that one of those vassals would become my friend. There is also the loss of prestige you would get from being turned down by so many people if you were to just invite everyone, but that's a minor point.

could always choose to make it a game rule. Make it so people can toggle if they want carousing to just auto-invite, or even a toggle somewhere like with murder plots.

Doesn't even have to be an ingame rule. Just click on your character and have a button "invite all".
