I haven't had the time to play with the new patch yet, so the answer to my question may be obvious. However, what happens in the following scenario: I'm Sweden, and I lose Nyland to Russia. 5 years later, I declare war on them and gain Nyland back. Does Nyland now get an increased risk of rebellion or not, i.e. do the local inhabitants stage a parade for their liberators, or do they just say 'Dang, it's the Swedes. Quick, Pekka, get yer hayfork.'

Is it possible that Finland rebels and gains independence? Or isn't that possible at all, I mean with the swedes designing the game and all?
King Pekka the Hayfork seems more suitable then Gustav Adolf II ;)

No it is not possible. Finland was an integral part of Sweden. The finns did not make any rebellions against the crown historically. In the 1770's and onwards there was a recentment against the crown among the the swedish nobility living in Finland, but a serious rebellion to make Finland independent was more of a dream that something that could succeed. The idea of a Independent Finland is a very modern idea. An idea that did not arise until after the Napoleonic War - The Age of Nationalism. :)
