reformed countries not joining religious league?

Look at that reformed North Germany, completely ignoring the religious league...
I allied Brandenburg and that didn't help. I've improved relations to at least +20 with all the reformed nations and that didn't help...
I really want to win the league war because the only eligible protestant emperors are me and provence (castille is in regency for a 1 year old queen)

The pope excommunicated me like 3 months before the reformation (which started in CASTILLE!!), so I told him to stuff it where the sun don't shine and converted to protestant (and took Rome)

It has always been this way. I agree that Reformed, as a branch of Protestantism, should want to join the Protestant League. It is not the only problem with the wider Reformation, and I don't know if it is deliberate from the developers or whether it is an oversight.

If you want to win, ally a strong rival of Austria, like the Ottomans. A country does not have to be in a League to take part in the war.
