I've run two games as France to try new features, both with the open beta.

In both runs I had the reformation fire way before 1500 (1480 and 1479 respectively). I understand the why with the new Catholic tags driving up reform desire, but is this a bug or WAD?

If WAD, I'd like to state while an occasional early reformation is fine (due to rng factors), consistent 15th century reformation is not good. Even if you beeline to exploration you barely have time to colonize or get age bonuses.

Interesting observation, I haven't played much in 1.30 (as it has been broken). First game after the 1.30.4 with Portugal and it fires in 1481.....Feels like a waste of Portugal's age bonus. I figured it was just an oddity, but if you are also seeing it....Also by the time it got to 1520 the reform desire was 160%. Seems like just like when they added new princes to the HRE but didn't decrease the military and financial bonuses for princes and so made Austria into an insane power (or, as some might say, OP!), they once again made additions but ignored how that might throw off balance. On top of this making the Age of Discovery shorter, it now makes the Reformation go on for 30+ years longer than it should.....Which I guess could be considered a nerf to Austria. Silver lining. Regardless, the HRE and THIS balance issue need to be fixed.
