So, republics are hardcoded to operate the way they do, and undoing that is not an easy thing.
But. As the game stands now; if I'm say, germanic, and one of my vassals manages to take a republic in a conquest, without being reformed, you now have an unreformed germanic republic.
So the question, if I reform the faith to use enatic clans, will that forcibly break the merchant republic vassal, or will it continue to use *agnatic* and provide a use for my otherwise holy-order-fodder sons?
