Reference to a Shaggy song?

I just bought this game today and on my first play of it as Rome I got a message about adultery and one of the options was "wasn't me." I had a bit of a giggle because it reminded me of the Shaggy song (Wasn't Me) and I was wondering if this is actually a reference to that song?

Let's not forget that Aragon also has to conquer Saruhan, which "sounds like a threat to the nations of the west" or something.
