Reducing army/general 'card' size.

Is there any way or mod to reduce the size of, or altogether hide on command, the army/general cards at the bottom of the screen? These things are enormous and once (as SOV for example) the first row is filled they swallow an insane amount of the screen.

you can increase your resolution, decrease the UI scale, move marshalls/generals into different theaters, and if you do have generals under marshals there is a little tiny arrow on the marshal space you can click to hide all of the generals/armies under them.
