They are correct Schmidt, both France and me lost TE/income during war. Lack of trading leads to less monopolies and less TE.

And thanks regarding my inflation. :)

Stats do not include reformed TE bonus IIRC. So France would still be ahead a bit in TE.

I do wonder why Tonio complained a session ago about the strength of England and France. They are no match for the Austrian-Ottoman-Spanish-Portuguese alliance...

Edit: I do like the losses this session
France: 8054
Portugal, Spain, Austria, OE: 7586 + 5730 + 3413 + 6652 = 23381 :D

That's why Tonioz' idea is accurate... our efforts to contain you are expensive. We even failed as you took a Cot.

I think preheventive wars against France are a must. Or we'll be reformed quite soon. :p

Btw Mioz, I'd be worried if I were you, your diplomacy is disheartened, your colonial empire is non-existant and your country depends a lot on trade. A coordinating embargo will be devastating, are you sure Genoa deserved it?

I won because
a) I was a CRT ahead (advantage gone :( )
b) I had Turenne (won't last forever :( )
c) I got peace before the Austrian and Ottoman hordes intervened.

Last war I simply lost. Against 3 of the 4. And tbh, I fear Austria (the one that didn't fight in the last war) most.

But Turenne at least makes beating me expensive  Of course, the 4 of you together have much higher income than me, so it won't be much of a problem.

You took Genoa when Austria was absent, are you proud of it? (check events, I see otherwise) summing up; Portugal is very mad at you...

Are you refering to the 2nd or the 3rd war? If I mistook you shouldn't react that way... you seem stressed or something

The 2nd war was the one in wihch I won Genoa. And the one during which Engel was present. But the war was over really really fast, so he didn't have time to intervene.
Third war Engel was not around, but I lost. I knew OE/Spain/Portugal would be tough for France alone, but tried it anyway.

And I get cranky very fast if I get the feeling I am being falsely accused. My apologies for my reaction if you didn't mean to do that :eek:o

by the way, Ulschmidt, on your place i would embargo your enemies. You told in game a week ago they are powerful, but you control most trade revenue.

He did quite often embargo me. But now it's pretty clear his alliance is strong enough to control the rest of the countries.
Portugal/Spain/Austria/OE have got only little less income then ALL other countries together. And MP isn't that much less than the MP of all other countries as well.

You're right. I've waited for better behavior from them (or alliance switching), unfortunately nothing's changed. Maybe it's just human nature, we always want more and more. Thus I have no option but to show my teeth... I can't trust them anymore.

and I'm losing my faith in England too, She thinks I was born yesterday... That naval race will only end in an undefined embargo too.

I expect a really violent context next session. :D

And in what way did France lose your trust? I never lied about what I wanted.

And the game would be really boring if we all joined the Habsburg alliance....

Yeah well I just defended Spain once, no one should say that I've got a permanent alliance with Iberia.

You've got one with Austria though. Which seems allied to the Iberians,

Mioz:

After some wars we realised we had to coordinate our efforts. That's all. Being taken one by one would be really stupid from our part. We're not allied though. we just cooperate against a mayor threat. Not to mention Spain and Austria are small nations, It's natural mayor nations like Oe and Porto prefer to help them instead of being sit making our incomes to keep rising, it's all about morality and balance. :eek:o

Austria a small nation??? Soon it will be attacking France again I fear. As it has been doing before. More than once.

And Spain is not very strong for a Spain, but it still has decent MP and income. I admit it's weaker than France though.

yessir, It's really surprising Oe's good will towards Austria, I even tested their loyalty in private messeges, and he did pass the test successfully.

BTW, gentleman bluelotus, I need to share some ideas with you about many aspects of the present context. I'm going to send a letter as proper.

Yeah well, Grabah peaced way too quickly in that 2nd war. I was maybe 2 months away before DoWing and I had told Grabah to wait, while I built up and deployed as an offensive war a CRT down is hard work...

... but he peaced and said something like: 'my allies have abandoned me' so I thought: meh.

And I'm allied to OE, not Portugal and Spain. I was just helping out the enemy of my enemy while you had Turenne. ;)
