I was thinking, giving both ENG and FRA "Gaelic" culture ... along with possible extended cultures as we did in ATE2...

France should not gain Gaelic culture or we could see a France in Ireland which is pretty ahistorical.

If you want to give everyone cultures like we did in ATE2 then France should get Dutch or Italian. BBurg-Polish. Spain-Portuguese. Portugal-Spanish. OE-Magyar. England-Gaelic. Austria-Italian. Russia-Polish. Sweden-German

Better the edit proposed by Caslu if there's such a need - Bretagne to french culture and Basque culture to Spain... my MP really sucks..

Nice... I was thinking sth like that.. but I'm incline to give FRA "Italian", another reason to fight Austria and that way the "Dutch" will be the rebel for all ... also for SPA and POR, I'd prefer adding "Italian" to SPA and "Berber" to POR, seems better, another one fighting in Italy with means, due to this big Italy, sounds ok... and to POR, the possibility of extretching in North Africa is nice, instead of fighting SPA which I believe won't be the case, it's pointless, for both parties... for OE, I'd rather give "Berber" than "Magyar", although the latter would encourage fighting in the Balkans...

No, well, I'm thinking of using that Cas' proposal of changing Bretagne cultures and giving Basque to SPA.. and adding at least one more culture to every country.. as Cas' suggested also..

Ryo is releasing 1.5 next week... I am sure we'll be playing with it. In this new version Spain gains Italian culture so I think this is enough for the huge Spain.

- Random Event File Import from Earlier Mod with more freedom of choice.
- Changes to the Province Modification Options
--- Slight Manpower Reduction in Scandinavia
--- Slight Manpower Reduction in Germany
--- Slight Manpower Reduction in Portugal
--- Slight Manpower Boost in England
--- Slight Tax Reduction in Spain
--- Slight Tax Boost in France
- Elimination of Basque Culture (Becomes Spanish)
- Spain gains Italian Culture (low MP in Iberia, high in Italy, Spanish success is tied to Italy).
- Brittany becomes French culture.
- Returned Danish Vassalage of Sweden, but will auto-expire in 1523
- A "Classic COT Distribution" option
- Raised Populations in Iberia to prevent devastation by Torquemada event.
- Bohemia moved into Austrian Alliance for better protection.

that version looks bad for portugal. i don't know what slight reduction is, but i can say that its manpower is pretty crappy already, only around 33. and i've played up till 1578 or so iirc with the current version of the mod in SP, and my manpower has barely risen (granted, i'm more towards the quality side on the DP slider), but since my colonies haven't given any extra MP to date... :wacko:

Yeah, why reduce what is already small... Portuguese MP is already very small.
I dont know if I like the countries having so many cultures, but ok, let's see :wacko: If at least promoves more wars it wont be too bad

Portugal usually have 12-15 MP. I could be very happy with 33 (well I am currently extremely happy with 53 MP in my other AoD game, but actually is too much for Portugal). If even with 12-15 MP, there had been successful Portugal, I don't see whtyy 33 should be crappy.

And colonies don't grant MP. Only provinces in your continent or provinces you got land connection for.

Hi guys, I’m back from vacations! I want to confirm my participation on this third version of ATE, I have to study and I have to study so my PRESENCE will be more reliable as Caslu demanded!

If the options are England or Austria then I would definitely choose Austria, on the other hand DS was unable to join our crew because he couldn’t play on Tuesdays; any other day of the week was fine for him... Either way if we have a full roster on Tuesdays or everyone is happy with the day then it doesn’t really matter...

Not really Eli... Look at Arco's portugal in EGA5... Portugal is really playable now, with this mod...

Ask Gaius if you wanna switch your SWE with his POR... although he might find annoying playing again with SWE, perhaps he can take ENG (as I see happily that Delos will take AUS ) and leave SWE to Fraese

Although, as Cas pointed out, POR having 33 MP or even more than 20 MP it's already enough. A big push from vanilla numbers. But as I said, if you wanna rearrange your country selection, no problem ... (just leave my OE out ... I have psychological prepared for it )
