Looking for New Players,

March Through Time, the ongoing CK MP game is in need of some new players. There are several kingdoms that are perfect for a dedicated player. We play every Sunday without fail, starting at 1100 EST. If you haven’t ever tried CK MP then this is your chance to test it out and if you’re a CK MP veteran then come join us.

Open Kingdoms, needing a good ruler:

• Kingdom of Hungary
• Kingdom of Rus
• Kingdom of France
• Kingdom of Germany
• Duchy in Germany

how many hours per session do you play?
also , mtt is a grand scope game (i think), what if i dont have the other games?

We play five hours on average, a bit over if we're all up for it, a bit under if Trav is being henpecked. If you don't have the other games, you'd still be welcome to join us for the duration of the CK campaign, there are still ~250 years left after all. Who knows, maybe you'll be inspired to buy EU2 so you can lead your dynasty to further victories! At the moment we are getting somewhat in excess of 10 years to the session, which makes for maybe 20 more weeks before we switch; at that rate it'll be getting on for Christmas. Perhaps you could lobby your parents, if you still live with them? Or, really, EU2 is pretty cheap these days.

Right. I think you could be Hungary, it's open. Also, then I'd have somebody else to take some of the Mongols' fury.

Yep, Hungary and Germany are pretty much the only things left, unless you'd want to try to save Sweden from the fury of the Norwegians, or something similarly quixotic. Or I suppose you could play one of the Rurikovich dukes and try to retake Russia from the heretic Piasts. Could be a bit of trouble with the Mongols, though.

I have no idea what CET or EST is! Can someone explain an idiot like me?
I have never tried to play mp, but I really want to... The problem is that whenever I log on V-net, nobody else is on...

EST is Eastern Standard Time, which is to say, the time on America's west coast. It is six hours behind Norway, so our start time 1100 EST should be 1700 for you.

We don't use Vnet at all; if you would like to join us (my, we're popular! Getting full up!) you should get ICQ and find one (or preferably more) of us by the ICQ numbers listed in the first post of the 'March Through Time' thread.

I would be interested in joining, but it seems there are only kingdoms left...
(and I'd really prefer playing as a duchy, since that allows for more plotting opportunities than if I play as a king)

Well.....we have a rather nice country left, sort of. It could be a Duke in Rus or.....the HRE? You could revive the HRE. Other then that....there are some strong duchies around. We could find a spot for you, somewhere.

I'd mostly be interested in a duchy located either between France and Naples or Flanders and Poland, or one in Russia (where I'd launch an "orthodoxy wow!" campaign, featuring "buddy Jesus" icons and other such things).

If you were to play a Russian duchy, I am sure there are many peolple who would support you in a bid for the Russian crown - currently held by the evil Piasts. Of course, the Mongols ought to be arriving any minute now.
