What is a fun Buddhist country to play as? Besides Japan. On an unrelated note, which of the Italian states is best for forming the Kingdom of Italy?

I had a lot of fun, and little trouble, forming Italy as Tuscany.
Milan, though, may be your best bet, as has been mentioned.
The Sforzas are great, and all, but it seems to me that if anyone should have unified Italy in the EUII time frame, it ought to have been the House of Medici.

The Medicis struck me as most qualified for uniting Italy as well. Anyway, anyone with suggestions for a fun Buddhist country? (besides Japan, I never found them that much fun to play)
With Savoy you can form Italy and maintain also french culture, could be a nice bonus, if you manage to survive with them.
Indeed... It is Kingdom of Italy and it is inside HRE, after all. Not really compatible with French culture...

Just a little question (that is somewhat related), are there/could you guys make events for a restoration of the Khmer Empire? Probably just giving cores on Thailand and Laos, maybe giving thai culture, and maybe a few other bonuses for conquering said areas?

Yes, there is a reason my location during vacation wasn't Prey Nokor, Cambodia. Also, seeing as how they're fantasy events, would Khmer Empire stuff warrant it's own option? Because I don't think the AI would never do well enough (there are always exceptions though, and there's always player intervention.) and I'm thinking the player doesn't want a historical game when it comes to playing as Cambodia...
