((Before I make my character I have to ask, was the revolution peaceful or violent? I am getting conflicting messages with different backstories.))
((Yeah... sorry for that... I am going to have to go with this: The transition was meant to be peaceful but then sort of backfired and turned into a bloodier affair (though not an out-right civil war which would have ruined Azlanxo).))((Before I make my character I have to ask, was the revolution peaceful or violent? I am getting conflicting messages with different backstories.))
Illriyo, regains his composure not sure what had come over him to make him prancing around and singing like a school girl.Seeing that both Senators Krupt and Smigt have finished their epic debate, Graetius Tauronian stands up and slowly begins to clap...
...*clap*...........*clap*............*clap*................
soon he is followed not only by his fellow Populares but also by the independents as well as Senator Tsharthagion and the Mercators...
....*clap*.....*clap*......*clap*....*clap*........*clap*......
the clapping steadily became louder, faster, and less deliberate....
*clap*..*calp*..*clap*..*clap*..*clap*..*clap*..*clap*..*clap*
and in seconds the forum was flooded with the jubilant cheering and laughter of the senators. The Mercators shook hands with the Populares and together they joined hands and pranced out of the forum. Another glorious day in Atlantis...
Historians would later regard this event as the first known account of the slow clap and, even today, Graetius Tauronian is known as the father of the slow clap.

It appears so,Senator Solangus Balvaksin sits alone in the forums....his mouth open, he is very confused. Solangus looks around to see if anyone else was completely baffled by the sudden silliness that overtook the Senate just then.
No one else is there, just half opened scrolls and dust.
"Well" Solangus says to no one in particular "I guess this meeting is over."
He picks up his scroll, adjusts his toga and leaves the senate.
"I wonder what tomorrow shall bring."
I support this motion, it is essential in democracy to work together, is it not?May I suggest that one of we Mercators become an advisor of the government, in return for supporting you?
((My plan for the mod is that whatever happens in this game is more or less canon for the mod.))
((Those sorts of things are reserved for the cabinet to find out when they take power. They can then share to whom they want.))Auron stands and applauds Graetius' speech.
"I look forward to a bright future, and I trust that Graetius, those of the soon to be formed Cabinet, the rest of the Populares and this very Senate will bring about this bright future. Our nation is entrusted to you Graetius for the next eight years."- Auron Desimodius
((On a side note, May I ask what our relations with Eurpanxo and those other nations that we have "good relations" with are exactly?))
