hello guys ... i play as Persia and i have a very aggressive game so far i have conquered many lands ... but ... oh my God ... so may rebels destroying me ... please is there a cheat so i will never see rebels again ? please ?
The short answer: Humanist idea group
Rebel handling is one of the most important factors in the early game to having a successful campaign. If you don't play Ironman you can use console commands I suppose. No idea which are available but worst case you can add mil points and do harsh treatment.
If you don't really want a cheat, but actual tools to reduce it there are various things you can do to help reduce the problem: Increase autonomy, -national unrest advisor, increase stability, increase religious unity, consider province unrest before sending a missionary, accept culture and place up to 20 regiments (-0.25 unreast per regiment up to -5) in provinces with unrest are the are tools that pop into mind without starting the game. You should also be careful of picking event options which gives national unrest, and avoid disasters at (almsot) all cost.
Oh, and never ever go over 100% overextension!
Rebel stack size is affected by how many, and how developed, the provinces with that kind of unrest is present. You can see this by hovering the mouse over the rebel stack size in the stability tab. If you get the unrest to 0 in some of the provinces at the time of the rebel spawn, the stack size will be much easier to handle. Often you can predict which province they will spawn in and place your units in the province with the highest unrest. The rebels will then get the terrain penalties.
If you expect rebel problems you could also keep forts. Provinces in fort zone of control won't get extra separatism when sieged down. 10 years of separatism equals +5 unrest.
One more thing: Rebels get's the same discipline as your own troops, but not your morale bonuses. Morale is therefore by far the superior choice when it comes to rebel handling.
