In the Blorg stream Wiz and cKnoor are fighting people (or reptillians), but the people they are fighting are having rebels. Thats okay but Wiz said that they cant peace out for the rebels lands untill the rebels have been beaten. What i would like to see is that if you make peace with your enemies (who dont see their rebels as legit) you can peace out for the rebels lands, the rebels will keep being there and will keep fighting you and you have to defeat them to get the land fully instead of continuing a war because of some damned rebels

To me it seems extremely counter-intuitive to force you to be at war with any rebels your enemy may have. Don't i want my enemy to be weak and fractured? I mean it's such an illogical restriction.

In the other hand, it make perfect sense that rebels don't welcome you with open arms at first. They don't want to break free of one empire's oppression just to be oppressed by another empire shortly after.

Maybe the war was more about control of specific systems than the empire that held them?

Yeh definitely I thought when he said that that getting an empire to renounce their claim on systems would be a decent war goal, so you could peace with the main empire and then have the rebels to take care of yourself.
