So been in a constant war for 10 years or so finally beat my enemy's while fighting against a Cathar holy war against me and Scottish war as the petty king of Wessex and also had two Cathar uprisings during this time. Crazy amounts of rebellion troops possibly close to 10,000 with my levy at under 2000. Managed to win and took vengeance with a holy war. My character tried to go immortal and died leaving a 0 year old kid in rule, a 3 rd Cathar rebellion broke out with around 5000 troops and are whooping my ass and have no options left :( Just feel the game is being quite outrageous and unrealistic spawning around 15,000 troops from somerset within 10 or so years and the dates the late 890's.....

I know they changed the strength of rebellions so you don't get a large number of small rebellions and instead get a smaller number of large rebellions. I think they wanted to make them be a more significant challenge, although three huge rebellions in quick succession is brutal. IIRC, religious rebellions are the most threatening to begin with. You might want to check the province they are coming from, it may have a modifier called Heretic Stronghold that dramatically increases the chance to have a rebellion spawn. It may be worth plopping your marshal down in that province to suppress revolts.

What are you doing that triggers so many rebellions?
Nothing it was just that province became Cathar and went on a rebellion spree, the first time it rebelled I put it down, then while sieging a province and extra 2500 came up ontop of me and then after I got 100% literally a week later another one popped up with another 5000 troops split into 2500 then another 2500 later on!
