rebel help

so i am in my 5th game...all have become unbearable due to the rebels...
so i am now Brazil, its 1868 and I have 6 groups of rebels brewing again...(i wish i could upload a pic for you all but it keeps loading it up, then giving me an error..)
Jacobin rebels
3 sets of patriots from lands that I have concurred.
anarcho liberals
and reactionaries....
how do I appease them and not have rebel hunting become the whole game for me again...

just a quick update....YEA....1 year later after this email 18 groups of reactionary rebels rose up...i get to spend the next freaking 1 hour killking rebels...which will just pop up again 20 mins from now anyway...UGH!! I am sure i am doing something wrong here...but this happens every F in game...and i quit everytime...this sucks...

any help would be appreciated before i quit again..

yea. now 72,000 patriots are rebelling along with the 56,000 reactionaries....this is so much fun....

How many rebellions where there in the entire world during this 100 year time span anyway???

You're not necessarily doing something wrong, the thing is just that rebellions are very annoying in this game in general. As long as you can beat them, there is no reason to quit (except of course that rebels are annoying). Even if they break your country, it's not game over.

Have you conquered many states from other countries? Have you done any reforms? Are your pops very poor? Usually these are the reasons why you get mass uprisings. Are your people requesting reforms right now? If you get 72000 + 56000 rebels as Brazil it should usually mean that the militancy of your population is so high that political reforms can be done even in a conservative upper house.

thanks for the reply...my people are being taxed hard, but seem to be doing ok...I have taken over some land, which is why there are the patriots, but what i just cant get...is ok..Brazil starts off as 80% conservative...so where do all these liberal rebels come from???...so the reactionaries have won the rebellion...and dropped me down to 54 place..ok..i can recover...and amazingly enough 1 year later the liberals have rebelled now...with a militancy of 1.12!!! what else can be done...UGH...
