Hey guys,

I'm playing as super-germany and am unable to progress because of a problem with communist rebels. I abandoned the game for a while after finding no way around it, but recently decided to give it another shot. Anyway, the biggest reform movement atm is the minimum wage movement, with 3.67m members and about 34 radicalism. So, I enacted a reform for trinket minimum wage, and all of a sudden the communist membership starts going up--from 300k to 700 in about 2 or 3 days. I tried a control run, and without enacting the reform I get no change in communist membership. How the hell does enacting a social reform make massive amounts of people decide it's time for a communist rebellion?

Imagine it this way:

You have a child who's never tasted chocolate before. He's heard of it and heard how good it tastes. The child wants the chocolate, but since he's never tasted it, it's uncertain exactly how much he wants it. Now you give him a little piece of chocolate, and he absolutely loved the taste. However, you won't give him anymore. Now he's going crazy because of how much chocolate he wants.

Similarly, the masses could want a minimum wage, but once getting a little taste of it, they'll want a higher minimum wage. They'll want it more than how much they wanted minimum wage in the first place, so they'll become more extreme.

This could be a terrible example or explanation, but I see logic in it.

I considered that effect, but I figured that once people saw progress their faith in the system would increase and they would continue to campaign as before. Thanks for the tip!
