I'm sure other people have complained about this from a position of self-interest, but I'm asking because it can make things too easy to game the system.
The thing is, realm peace being enforced instantly and automatically squashes any attempt at revolt. So if your liege is enforcing realm peace, there is no longer any risk involved in trying to imprison a plotting vassal.
I had around a 30% chance to successfully imprison each of two vassals, but I managed to get both of them with no risk at all because realm peace invalidated the war every time they raised their flags in rebellion so I could just keep trying until it worked. And this isn't the first time I've done this. If vassals keep plotting you can just repeatedly imprison and ransom to farm their money with no risk as long as realm peace is in effect.
