One of the things that bugged me a little about the demo (which is great) is that it's hard to tell exactly what land belongs to whom, especially in a big realm like the HRE. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you basically have two options for looking at territory: have every realm colored a different color, making it easy to tell the independent rulers apart (good) and one that shows both the kings/independent rulers and the dukes, but not any nobles further down (useful in some cases, I suppose).
But what I would really like to see is a mapmode that would, when a province is selected, color all territories belonging to a distinct ruler a different color in the realm in which that province is located. That way, I can tell, for example, exactly what land belongs to the Duke of Milan, what land belongs to his vassal, the Count of Mantua, etc., for every distinct ruler in the whole realm. (My reason for limiting this to individual realms is that there would probably not be enough colors to extend this to the whole map.) It would be even better, if possible, to make each 1st tier noble in a realm (e.g. the dukes) have a different color, with their vassals and sub-vassals having variations of that shade. So, e.g. the Duke of Mantua might be royal blue, with his vassals various other shades of blue.
I hope something can be done to implement a mapmode like this (if it's not already present and I just don't realize), because it would make it much easier to get an overview of the political state of large realms without having to click on every province and memorize which count it belongs to.
