Really terrible timing - an appeal to the devs

Hi there,

So on Saturday i fell off my skateboard while attempting to do a rock to fakie on a quarter pipe (im a 40 year old man and should know better). i landed badly on my left shoulder with my left arm behind my back and under me, there was a pop and then all i could hear was the roar of pain coming out of my mouth. i spent the next hour waiting for an ambulance trying to not move, pass out or be sick. I had dislocated my shoulder. 4 hours and a lot of drugs later 2 strong doctors popped it back in place.

So now i have my left arm in a sling and i'm signed off work until.... you guessed it the 9th May. I am also hurting, frustrated and feeling useless.

Please, good kind people of Paradox, please can i have early access to this beautiful looking dream game! (im happy to sign a none disclosure agreement or only say really positive things about my experience)

I say you get the early access given some criteria are met.

1. you have to prove that this actually happened
2. you cant be the only one who benefits from this.

Easy solution here. You have to stream it... like every minute of you playing. You can even show the camera your poor arm... saviour of us all.
If you get the early access and stream im sure the community will worship your arm forever <3

Hey devs, I also had a horrid accident

I was carrying my case of beer upstairs and dropped it breaking most of the bottles. I now had 4 bottles of beer which I promptly drank. I am now out of beer and sober so could you send me a copy of Stellaris before the beer stores open again tomorrow so that I can be sober enough to properly install it.

i dont think i know how to stream but i could live tweet? search #onearmedman to see this mornings tweets about making sandwiches and putting out the bin with only one hand.

Posting on the forums will just turn people against you, whether you truly deserve to get a copy early or not.

I don't know about everyone else but I'm convinced. I think we should start a petition and get you your early access, as the organiser of said petition and a generally good egg I should be given early access as well so I can help the OP out if he's struggling... from my home over the phone

to be completely honest, i never had any expectation of being granted early access as a reward for being an idiot. I am just a little board and i wanted some people to talk to. i might start a game of CK2 or binge watch some TV...

That does look like a nasty dislocation... but yeah i prefer twitch. I could watch dota plus your stream on tv. And tweeting takes time. Time you could spend playing.
How about you get an infusion and a diaper and just play.... like 24/7. I heard being happy speeds up the healing process... also you have to rest. So by getting confy in front of the PC and being happy playing stellaris, getting all those yummy nutrients trhough infusion and not moving your left arm at all you can achieve maximum healing speed and make many fans happy.

Now we only need a doctor to set up your "healing chamber"
