Hey Lords & Ladies, hey Devs,
several month ago I started an achievement-run with Carloman,769 with patch version 2.6.0. (Ironman).
So I took up all official patch versions between 2.5.2 (EDITED) and 2.7.1,even if it's not recommended.
The gamerule interface was/is telling me the savegame is still capable of getting achievements and after
some weeks were I didn't get one,when the ingame date reached 1300 AD, I got 'Iron Crown' with my savegame and I felt very happy that the savegame is not corrupted.
After destroying Byzantium as Emp. of HRE (frankish,catholic) only by single county wars, I was able to usurp the Empire title of Byzantium
But now its getting really weird:
I can't restore the Roman Empire cause the conditions in intrigue tab are telling me that I'm not controlling the duchy of Antiochia. But I do, at least all visible subholdings
So I wondered where the hell is the barony of Masyaf. Searched in character finder for the Hashashins and when I want to click at their leader I got/get a CTD (in 2.7.1 now). I think here is the bug. The scripted event for the barony of Masyaf seems to falter in the script-pipeline. I attach my ironman savegame and VIPed the marshal of Hashashins (fourth person in outliner).
By the way, I can right-click the leader of Hashashins and tooltip says he and his crew reside in Bagdad. But Bagdad and all subholdings are also controlled by my vassals, so I think they are landless but something is messed up with this Masyaf event. (When using title finder and search for Masyaf cam centers county of Archa in duchy of Antiochia)
But....I got the SPQR achievement some ingame days later ^^
And to get the SPQR achievement I have to control Antiochia and all its subholdings amongst other things,right?
But I'am still not able to form the RE.
So actually my inofficial RE looks like this:
I mean there are 100 years left, so I could try to become Shia and try to trigger the Masyaf event this way and convert back to Catholicism and then attack them.
But I'm curious if you will also get a CTD with this savegame when clicking on leader of Hashashins...
I could also try to breed some shia Karlings at my court, grant one the county of Archa or whole duchy of Antiochia and wait what happens, but I have to forbid external vassal wars before, he won't stay independent for long with my greedy vassals. But maybe the barony of Masyaf is spawning then.
Do you have any other ideas, tips, hints or tricks what else I could try/test ?

Suddenly I got a pop-up that my vassal king of greece took control of a county. He doesn't usurp it! He got control of it,anyway. Some ingame days later,next pop-up, next county. After the fifth pop-up I checked him and tried to figure out whats going on in his kingdom. No excommunications, no nothing. After about 75 pop-ups, all of his duchies got destroyed/deleted (not mentioned in title history) and also his kingdom title of greece. But all his subvassals (barons/majors/bishops) were controlled by myself now. So he was a count with 82 counties and 0 (zero) vassals !
I transfered all 175 subvassals, but an ingame day later, same situation again ^^
Look at the third opinion modifier of +1750 (^.^)
I also gave him the kingdom title of Bulgaria, but one day later the kingdom title got destroyed, also it isn't mentioned in the title history. By the way, nice method to get rid of titles you don't want to destroy yourself and get the opinion penalties for doing so, just give it to title-blackhole-count ^^
So I plotted him, his heir (my grandson) now was the blackhole-count.
I transfered all the subvassals again, but one ingame day later he has had 0 vassals again.
Plotted him and I inherited 81 counties and spread them out to my 'normal insane' vassals.
Except the county of Archa (southern part of duchy of Antiochia, where Masyaf is supposed to be). It got independent ruled by a random frankish count, but all subholdings belong to my realm, not so the top holding. I declared war, one day later the war ended cause CB wasn't valid anymore (character is landless), but he still owns the county of Archa. I excommunicated him and tried all CBs without success. The option to vassalize him wasn't available. I plotted him and now I inherited the county of Archa, but I'm still not able to form the RE.
