It's been a while since I played ck II (eu IV got me good), but I've recently fired up a Jerusalem game again.
The last game I played was when Way Of Life just released, so I've missed quite a few changes. What's this all of a sudden? A smaller army with better generals and troops can actually defeat a larger force? No more stackwhipes? Empires can now fall to internal rebellion? Really loving the changes and extra challenges.
The Mongols even conquered Cumania! And then decided to park all of their event troops in neighbouring countries, preventing them from declaring other wars, but what can you do eh.
Thanks, Paradox!

To be fair, a smaller force could defeat a larger one even before WoL in my experience, but you're right about some of the changes being positive. You can actually parent! Like, actual parenting! Kind of.

Honestly, my favourite part of the recent changes is the education system.

No longer will you be guaranteed perfectly educated virtuous children with half a dozen traits, they'll now have different personalities, which will grow with time as well!
