Good Evening Everyone!
This isn't exactly an issue with the game, per-say. But I noticed the AI is oddly aggressive with things that may seem illogical if we're playing from a more realistic or roleplaying standpoint. I noticed I started getting into these random holy wars from Spain for some reason only to realize it is because one of my vassals - I'm Scotland to clarify - took over the land in central Spain, and one time as well taking over Mallorca.
The opposite happened as well when I was declared on by another tribal nation far out in modern Russia. The sense of "distance" just doesn't make much sense. The AI is much smarter and more opportunistic, clearly. It is just I feel there is no system actually in place to restrict it from making decisions that just don't seem logical to control.
So, again - not a bug or anything. Actually probably working entirely as intended. I just feel there should be some logic or brakes involved on AI expansion. I love the behavior of it, I just don't want to be playing Norway and have to worry about being declared on by Egypt. Bit extreme of an example, but not that far off.
