First came Bourbon restoration, later they were overthrown and Louis Philippe of Orleans was made King, he was overthrown, a Republic, the Republican Assembly proclaims the President of the Republic, Louis Napoléon Bonaparte, Emperor of the French as Napoléon III, later he resigned after losing Franco-Prussian War and the throne was offered back to Bourbons, but the Bourbon Pretendent wanted the flag to Bourbon White, the Assembly denied and proclamed the Republic. Republic that still would fall two times more but being replaced by new republican goverments, but still there is some important monarchist support there.

After some reflection, I *may* reduce the number of floating votes to 1/2, 3/5 or 2/3 of actual player votes. Not quite decided yet. Input?

it allows for many outside votes that you must go after but shouldnt too dramatically alter anything. the most any party would probably get is like 4-5 extra votes but they would have to fight for them. with so many parties running for parliament(like 6-7 i think that have a chance) most parties will get 1-2 votes and only those that did well or were very active will receive extra.

i think that based on the number of parties is the floating vote.

if there are 2 big parties there isnt that big of a floating vote needed but with many parties we need an extra reason to go out and try for the extra votes and that way the active parties will run things.

And, of course, I will take into consideration, not just party behavior, but whom they run as well.
