Purpose and usage of this forum and thread
As the purpose of this forum is to help Paradox in improving the game it has to be somewhat organized for it to be of use for them. A bug should only have one thread where all info about it is located and only threads about bugs should be in this forum.
Although there is no harm in healthy critique and debate of new features is adviced and followed by developers, this isn't the right place. Those issues belong to the Crusader Kings - General discussions
If you have technical problems, like you're unable to install or some of your hardware isn't compatible with Crusader Kings you should go to Crusader Kings - Technical Support.
In case of bugs about historical correctness only post issues of which you are absolutely certain about them being wrong and have solid evidence to back up your claim. If not, perhaps instead use the Crusader Kings - Scenarios and Modifications
If you have found a bug, please search this forum and if you find a similar one, comment in that thread instead of making a new thread. Further notes on what you think might have caused it, what effects it has and perhaps of how to fix it make it easier for the bug to be fixed.
Only one bug in a thread, lists of bugs are ignored as they are too hard to handle.
Use descriptive and precise names of threads: no smilies, no exclamation marks, jokes or icons please. If you are using beta patches please include that information and the date of the beta patch you are using in the start of the thread title.
If you are not using beta patches then you should check the Public Beta Meta-thread - Please read. first as there is a good chance that it's been fixed in those versions. There you will also find more info on the whole public beta process, feel free to contribute!
Here is an explanation on the abbreviations used:
<moved> : post was not a bug report
<no comment> : status of bug report undetermined
DUPLICATE : already reported.
WAD : Working as designed. You may still not like it but Paradox meant it to work like that.
BUG : reported to Paradox
FIXED IN 1.02-1.04 : already fixed in 1.02. Please upgrade
FIXED IN 1.05 : Paradox have indicated it will be fixed in 1.05
FEEDBACK: The bug has been looked upon by moderators but the future status is yet unclear. At times specific further info is asked, if not then it just needs a confirmation by somebody else.
WON'T FIX: A bug exists, but changing it would be take too much time and the gain would be minimal, or it would cross some design concept.
And last but definedly not least: Always make sure you have the latest patch or the latest beta patch installed before posting here! To ensure that please include your version to all bug reports.
