I was going to assemble a small fleet... about half a dozen each of escorts and capital ships... and then return to our anti-Jerx campaign.

We have explored enough of the map that ALL of the types of hazards should now be active.

Sorry for the slowness... the store just down the road finally restocked with Steam cards (after six months with none) and I've picked up Victoria 3 and the Steam version of Dwarf Fortress.

Somehow I wasn't getting updates on this and there are 12 new pages.
 
I've actually played ahead a ways, but there was nothing specific to report.

We've started refits to bring some of our old ships up to modern capabilities. 9000 kps speed battle-management vessels are currently under construction. Meanwhile, we are still struggling to keep the mineral supplies flowing in to the factories.
 
Mmmm... I'm getting absorbed by the new Steam version of Dwarf Fortress.

I think I might put this AAR on the back burner for a while... we've done more than 50 years of game time, which is a lot further than most Aurora AARs get.

I will be immersed in Dwarf fortress and its bearded drunken maniacs.

This is one of several reasons I usually do trans-Newtonian starts with a lot of starting NPRs. Conventional starts are fun for roleplay but really demand a lot of commitment to get to the exciting late-game stuff.
