I wonder if the swedish ore event is wad? 200 IC for supplies and my ore is at maximum stockpile... and i cant stop the agreement.

Hey F you do not have to accept the agreements with Sweden and Norway. I never do and there is never a problem with these resources. So for the future I would not do it anymore. I hope this helps.

Also i am curious... is the IC costs of the units wanted? 0,x for a sub (while having 800+ in 1938)... etc? I can build my whole army/navy/airforce within less than 12 months.... 6 months if i dont build subs... not much fun isnt it? Whats the goal of these IC numbers?

The IC and Unit cost are accurate in international dollar and gdp. Also the build times are accurate so you should be able to START to build. but you will not be finished them that quickly.

That is not so say that the values will not be altered in future for game play

Eh, are we talking the same game? I can build a complete Superhero-great-power-mega-bang army within less then 12 months.... including 25 CV+, 50 tanks and dozens of inf....
It took me less then a week to wipe Poland, belgium and netherlands at the same time and less than 3 weeks for france (and i was asleep i think).... My airforce has 200+ units, killing everything around, i got 300 subs, dozens of bombers, 2000k+ energy, 300k+ fuel, 1000k supply (i will never ever need to build supply again), 50k money, 1k MP left and 1200 IC... and thats late 1939....ah well, did i mention i got EVERY province with level 10 fort and AA and Radar?

Really, i enjoy HoI and i played it since hoi1 and am quite familiar with a lot of mods... but what you did of the greatest mod ever (HSR) is not well. I tried your mod, thought the values where bugged and now you tell me its intentional... but hey.... who has got fun in playing when it is 100% sure you have superior everything and will win, no matter what happens?

well something is wrong
not sure what 25 CV i assume you mean Aircraft Carriers? The build times for Carriers is just under to 2 yrs. Should not be able to build in 12 months. I will look into it. Please remember this is a work in progress. Thanks for the feedback.

Its possible to build really enormous army and sea and air fleets. The only thing that prevents it is low MP but after 1940 even low MP is not a problem.

There should be and update ready on Monday i am not sure if it will address the IC issue as that is rather complex and may need more time. But it will have other bug fixes, CAG revision, and more graphics.

Just wondering if this mod contains any of the Chinese improvements that mods like SMEP contains? Is there any comparison matrix available or at least something that outlines the core differences. Thanks in advance.

It includes both the China Improvement Pack and elements of SEMP. You can tell as China AI has been beating on Japan ai now for a bit. Adjustments are needed. As for comparison i would have to go back check my notes and type them up into one. Sorry but i have dozens of things to do with higher priority.

Haven't actively contributed to the mod for a while now, but I've been thinking about the shift from regiment to division as the decisive unit from 1790 to 1860-ish, and I may have a solution. It'd require a revision of the way land doctrines work, and for that matter the way land brigades are used, more like HoI3 than HoI2.

Create a command-and-control segment in land doctrine techs. In 1790, a "division" consists of a single brigade, consisting of a single regiment (in the case of British regiments, for instance, this would really be a single battalion, but we'll operate under the simplifying assumption that the regiment has two battalions, a rear-depot battalion for training replacements, and a deployed battalion that the game reflects as a unit).

Revolutionary and Napoleonic "brigades" should be fairly weak, to reflect the fact that they're not truly brigades. Sometime between 1790 and 1815, "brigades" get a stat bump, to reflect the first use of mass maneuver troops in the French Revolution's foreign outcomes rather than fighting more-or-less exclusively by regiment.

Between 1815 and 1865, a tech should be available in the C2 category for a binary division of two brigades, and between 1865 and 1914, a triangular division, which should be the default. During the Great War period, square divisions (the HoI division-plus-brigade division) open up, and late or post-WW2, pentomic divisions (one of the silliest ideas ever, really) open up. In all of these cases, "brigades" are broken up as follows, more or less:

Infantry family
- Light infantry
- Infantry
- Motorized infantry
- Mechanized infantry
- Infantry support tank (e.g., PzKpfW IVA through F)

Mobile Family
- Cavalry
- Light armor
- Armor
- Heavy armor
- Air cavalry

Enhancement Family
- Anti-Aircraft
- Artillery
- Self-Propelled Artillery
- Engineer
- Airborne Engineer
- Assault Engineer (covers Commandos, Raiders, Rangers, Sturmpionier battalions, etc., on a conventional battlefield)
- Military Police

Special Role Family
- Mountain
- Marine
- Airborne

One problem with this, of course, is that certain divisions are going to be typecast, only being able to take brigades of certain types - mountain, marine, and airborne come to mind, especially airborne, which has a designated role that no other unit can undertake in HoI2-engine games.

The other problem is the fact that HoI doesn't like disassembling and reassembling brigades when you've got more than one. I don't recall ever detaching, say, an AA battery from a battleship that's also mounting a radar unit.

More of this to follow, I'm sure, this is kind of a notepad post.
