Hey community,

if a planet has a rare planetary feature like "Max Crystal Mine" or "Max Gas Extraction Wells", then it only tells me that there are +1/+2 etc. more of those buildings allowed on this planet right? Or is it additional output of the building?

How many of the rare resources buildings can one planet have?

As far as I know, it only tells you how many of a specific building/district you can build on the planet.

I don't think there's a limit to how many can exist on a single planet.

Rare planetary features cause different effects, depending. I'm of the personal opinion that the max crystal/gas/mote building features should give raw jobs (maybe with special blockers blocking them) rather than require you to waste building slots. Needing to waste three building slots on them is a significant drawback to life-seeded.

Other rare features include bonuses like the ones you get from titanic life, the art monument, etc. Basically it's a benefit the planet provides that isn't actually a modifier to the planet itself. Some give science research raw, for example (I suspect this may be an oversight).

There's no realistic limit to the number of such features on a planet.

There are two different types of resource buildings. A Synthetic Crystal Plant can be built in any free slot, but requires minerals to produce crystals. A crystal mine doesn't require minerals, but you ca only build as many of them as your rare features allow. No features, no mine.
