I had the idea just now :
rarely, when you win a battle against a general (or maybe only the king if he's general), could trigger an event : the capture of the ennemy's general.
the winner would have the choice :
1) ask for a ramson and ask for money and some war score.
2) kill the general, loose prestige (to the winner for the battle) but cause a loose to the ennemy's moral.
3) keep the general and release him (for free) at the end of war : gain of diplomatics points (and/or a bonus to the war score IN the peace treaty (possibility to get a bit more 100% ?) and prestige.
The choice will trigger an event to the ennemy :
1) (if ransom is asked) pay for the general.
2) (if ransom is asked) don't pay the ransom but loose prestige and military tradition.
3) (if no ransom is asked) warn about the ennemy decision.
I don't know what do you think about it, but it could be fun to add an event directly inside a war.
