Hey there,
I don't want to open multiple threads for my questions and thoughts so I put them all together in here.
Do traderoutes make use of Gateways?
I think I once saw a traderoute making use of an L-Gate but do player built gateways count too?
Just in theory:
If every trading post in my empire has a gateway the traderoutes would be only one jump, decreasing the piracy to an absolute minimum: The trading post system's own piracy.
If I add another system to that network with a gateway and the starbase there is military post filled with hangar bays all my traderoutes would gain +60 trade protection, don't they?
Do hyperlane registrars affect gateway jumps and jumpdrives or just normal hyperlane jumps? This could make them actually useful.
Do listening posts work through gateways or just normal hyperlanes?
Do nebulae block sensors completely? So no spying out of the nebula or are things inside nebulae just not detectable?
Example: A Spacestation with listening post in the middle of a 3-system nebula. Ist the spacestation able to see what happens outside the nebula?
Do nebulae block the sentry array (megastructure)?
Target Uplink Computers do not buff the defense platform's range, do they?
Does the defensive aura from the command center affect the space port and it's platforms?
Do Titanauras affect platforms?
