Riiiiiiiight, okay.

"That's part of 'the game'" is more like it. I'm certainly not looking to be chastised, just looking to find out that if I adjust or delete these events that it will make the event less time consuming or go away.

I'll try some of the suggestions here and see what happens, perhaps it'll be a learning experience..... and then I can work on reclaiming the whole of the Roman Empire.
