Rally Points:
Each colony could have a 'set rally point' button. It would be excellent if I could set where new units should move to after they have been built in a particular colony. This would reduce the tedium of having to manually move multiple units to a single location when I'm trying to build up my forces. If that hex is full, the units should rally at the closest unoccupied hex near the rally point I set.

Auto Explore:
This is something in many 4x games have. I'm not sure why the Age of Wonders franchise has not adopted this function. Clicking a button on a unit to set it to auto explore would be salvation.

Way Points:
It would be useful to be able set way points that would 'map out' the path I want a unit to take. it would further be useful if I could press a button when the unit is selected that would set the unit to patrol the way points. When in patrol mode the unit would automatically move at the start of every round (without the camera focusing on it so I can do other things) and stop when an enemy is and alert me.

(Edit: solved!) 'Continuous Movement'
I would also like an option next to the 'move' button on a unit (the one that makes them continue to follow a path) to 'continuous move' that would cause them to automatically move at the start of a turn (unless obstructed) and thus not require me to manually tell them to continue to move.
--->Edit: As per Aiadan "you can uncheck "Enable army movement confirmation" in World UI options" which will cause units with queued movement to move when you click end turn so you dont have to manually confirm that you want them to continue to move.

For this one, you can uncheck "Enable army movement confirmation" in World UI options, then you don't have to manually confirm each queued movement. The units move when pressing the end of turn button, and if the units have movement points over after moving it notifies you before actually ending the turn.

Thanks for the tip, I wasn't aware. I'll edit the post about it.
