I for one, welcome our new Indian overlords. Much like I welcomed our Aztec overlords.
Arguably Rajiv Gandhi was, via his father. But obviously that is so far out of the timeframe that it's not relevant at all to CK2.btw, there weren't ever any Parsi rulers, were there?
Yeah, this is what I'm most excited about too. The areas on the periphery of the game map are the most interesting to me and I'd love to see them expanded upon. I almost always start on the eastern half of the map; my favorite area to play in is from Volga Bulgaria to Khiva, so the prospect of adding more of it is pretty cool. They'll definitely be expanding at the very least Afghanistan and Pakistan. Hopefully there will be more in the future too.And of course Khwarazem and the civilizations of Central Asia... oh wow there's going to be some interesting stuff there if it goes into the North too. I can't wait to see how the map is going to look.
But isn't Jainism all about non-violence? You couldn't do anything in the game if you were a Jain.
Sounds awesome
Was there in India republics?
Around the time Alexander the Great was marching around the map.
Yes, but I don't think there were in the CK2 timeframe. In classical times there were some, and in the 18th century the Sikhs probably count.Sounds awesome

Whether you agree or not, they made India for EU4 and used that work to make one for CK2. It just saved a lot of energy for Paradox, and I don't think they wanted RoI in the first place, only that it was the most they could do with the least effort.
This community has too many fanboys, with lack of any constructive criticism.
And EVERYONE who works in the catering industry, like my father, will tell you that the customer is NOT always right. He must not be disrespected, but he isn't the king of the place he enters in. That sentence creates the monsters that think they can get in a restaurant and have the staff kneel.
I stand corrected.Wiki says they can use violence as self-defence.
"Nonetheless, Jains agree that violence in self-defence can be justified, and that a soldier who kills enemies in combat is performing a legitimate duty. Jain communities have accepted the use of military power for their defence, and there have been Jain monarchs, military commanders, and soldiers"
So even aggression wars could be seen as good as long as they are somehow seen as defending themselves from a threat or they don't have other choice.
HEY! I've been working hard on this game![]()
