As I conquered a Planet formerly occupied by the Remnants of the Raiders/Khan I saw, that the Race of the Raiders has a low Habitabillity because they have no Homeplanet.

Is this intended? From the Roleplayperspectiv it may be so, but even so, they should have some Biome that they prefer. As I see it, this makes it difficult for the Post-Khan Empires to manage their Population Happiness.

I think it's intended and a legacy of the previous system.

In the previous system, Pops need at least 20% habitability to live in a planet, otherwise they would leave. So, the Marauder people live on Space Stations for whatever amount of time, giving them no Genetic Adaptation to any planet.

BUT, they needed habitability, and they gave them the Extremely Adaptive to make them have the minimum Habitability on all planets (20%), showing that they don't like to live on Planets and lived their entire lives on Space Stations. And it's a great contradiction that they are extremely adaptive but can't live anywhere.

In the current system there is no need for minimum Habitability, so we can give them the right "Planet Preference".

As you can see on "Habitability traits", there is a "Habitat preference" and this is the one the Marauder race should get, because they lived on Space Stations, that is basically an artificial Habitat.

Maybe they should have Tomb World preference? Their space stations are said to be overcrowded and poorly maintained, and it would allow them to actually live and work on planets effectively.

Habitat preference wouldn't fix anything since Habitats are already 100% habitable anyway.

I think they were trying to fall back into old patterns. Maybe their ancestors did the same...started as just the crew on old mining stations that they slowly built into habitats. Gradually sprawled out into their system. But this time, there was a bigger fish around - one with a grudge.

Tomb world preference don't make any sense.

We can invent a new Habitat preference or simple give a random one.

Habitat preference (and ring-world too) is 0% habitability for anything else; I would fix nothing here.

After all, caravaners have habitability, even if they live on spaceship. So why marauders couldn't have one too?

We don't know the difference of the caravaners and the Marauders lore-wise.

We can give a random habitability to them and give non-adaptable to show they are not suited to planets.

Random Habitability make sense because the Nomads Pops have them too.

in my latest game, one of the successor states had no planets. I took one system from them and they surrendered, ceasing to exist. the marauders need to have a second review pass by paradox.

The Marauders are all bugged. Raiding fleets sometimes don't disappear when they return. The "Revenge" event never create ships to attack you. The event where it creates the successor states always have some weird bug like this one without planets.

Their ships have non-sense things, like the Galleon having 40k Hull because they reused the Galleon boss and a lot of wrong sloted weapons too.

Need a complete review pass.
