I got news this weekend that a former coworker and one of the important people in this history of our company passed away at the young age of just 55, after a short period of illness.
Klas Berndal was one of the founders of Target Games, and was one of the driving force behind us signing the license to the convert the boardgame Europa Universalis to convert it to a computer game. I worked with him closely during 1998 and 1999, when he was working as designer and producer for the original EU1. He was also the guy adapting the eu1 manual for eu2.
