As much as I like Quill's content on other paradox games, seeing him play SD is quite ... 
I like how he is still in sensory overload about all those choices and Unit statistics that he doesn't notice how the Jumbo is different by having twice the armor than the other Shermans.
I like Quill... his videos are always on my top choices during my lunch breaks
For those who complained about the disappearing trucks... Quill is a perfect example of why they needed to be removed; although he was using half tracks which do not disappear and in fact have a nice machine gun, he just let them sit around and at time said he was going to use them to scout forward / sacrificial lamb. Now I don't call Quill a Cheat but he used the vehicle (like many of us may use a useless vehicle that has no gun) as a spotter - which is not its intended use = transport.
Nonetheless I am hoping the Quill will play some MP... or CooP

I think maybe you should be promoting some actual wargame vet rather than someone like quill.
No "Wargame veteran" comes even close to quill in views and no of them has done a tutorial yet. Anyways quill did great in the vids.
Loved those vids, Quill is indeed great at explaining what he does, and he has such a calm and friendly demeanor, too. He may not be a Wargame expert like Stealth17, but his vids are a nice balance, I feel. Hoping he does more vids on SD, possibly even in MP with some other YTer he's friends with.
. Neither Quill nor Stealth really seem to be fond of "tutorials" as such, they have more of a learning-by-doing approach where they play the game and explain stuff along the way.

I feel Stealth17's vids are "tutorial-ish" like Quill's vids, actually. He's friendly, and he explains what to do and not do in a good way. I admit I don't have the attention span for his longer, more technical vids (like the ones where he discusses the pros and cons of some deck or another for 40 minutes), but I still learn a lot from him

.I do have to respectfully disagree. He may not be the best person for you, or veterans of these style of games. I am someone that has never played this style of game before. Watching his videos introduced me to the game. Also, when I first tried it, I was a bit frustrated at not knowing what I was doing - so I rewatched the videos to get the basics of the gameplay.
I tried watching some other Let's Plays and they weren't describing what they were doing, so it wasn't beneficial to me.
(Basically - that was a long-winded way of saying he provides a service to certain level of players).
Now if I can only figure out how to tell when my guys are out of ammo.....

I couldn't help but notice that a number of engagements in the northeast ended with enemy units "falling back" straight into Quill's forces. It seems the AI was trying to path over a nearby bridge inside of Quill's territory rather than retreating away from the front. How does the unit AI prioritize movement once in the "falling back" state? Does it try to avoid enemy contact, or is it more shortest distance to a predetermined fallback point (ie. nearest deployment area)?
He is fine in other games, but I don't think this is the right game for him. He don't seem to know anything about the units from WW2 and that makes the videos worse.

Yeah, this reminded me of the first time I saw him play Hearts of Iron 3. I wouldn't mind seeing him play more of this, but yeah, I prefer watching people who know what they are doing. Although I get that that's a tall order for a game that just came out
