The stream went down for me during a very important part where Podcat was going to explain how to change/add arrows tot he original plan. I'll have to wait till they put it up and scroll to the parts where I lost connection.
Yes but what's so bad about his experience?
Everything seems oversimplified in the game, hence it is made of a different audience ...
Personal opinion:
The game is about a war, and it seems that this is central, unlike other games which are more sandbox, the central event of the game is the war. Seems everything about the game is centered on everything other than the war itself.
I'm not sure I agree. he talked about getting the Low Countries to side with Germany and France doing an attack along the coast. Seems pretty sandbox to me.

I am pretty disappointed with lack of OOB ..
Paradox, postpone the game for 6 months and add OOB. Right now it's Europa Universalis: 1939-1945, not a Hearts of Iron game.
Do not postpone it and especially not for OOB which is useless.Paradox, postpone the game for 6 months and add OOB. Right now it's Europa Universalis: 1939-1945, not a Hearts of Iron game.
It gave you a nightmare before Barbarossa. And for anyone except for Germany and some other majors you had almost no leaders so there is that as well.I understand it's an opinion but what did the OOB in HOI3 actually do game wise? Absolutely nothing outside of maybe giving some type of immersion

Did you not see max 10 units in the stream? You couldn't just make death stacks like in EU4 for example. You had some type of organization which had limits.

You couldn't just make death stacks like in EU4 for example. You had some type of organization which had limits. Most people were just hoping for yes some stream lining and some improvement, not a complete lack of OOB.
They were pretty clear from the stat that if you want an historical WWII you should play the 1939 scenario. 1936 will allow for sandbox type shifts in the history.I'm not sure I agree. he talked about getting the Low Countries to side with Germany and France doing an attack along the coast. Game is about war, but to properly do so it also needs a lot of elements that aren't directly tied to war. They decided against expanding start and end dates because the game is about WW2, it's not like EU4 where you can make Ulm into a world power in 150 years. Or even the time period available in Victoria, this is a limited game to WW2, yeah you can make some decisions and change small courses of the game.
Point is that with this limited focus, the central part of the game is the war, and combat of the war. I am pretty disappointed with lack of OOB and the Battleplanner to this point. No NATO counters, etc... As I said it's a personal opinion, but I don't know what the game is about anymore. Many of these things like production lines are cool, but if that's all it is, then expand the timeline and lets have a sandbox game from 1926 or something.
My point was that there is still a limit so no 200k stacks...Yes I disliked what I saw overall. We can agree to disagree.
