I'm playing as a sunni muslim for the first time, and I'm wondering, do I have any other options besides Iqta? Don't like the open inheritance system that much :/
How come I'm unable to forge claims?
I'm playing as a celtic pagan and can't work out how to select a court bard. I'm used to using celtic paganism from the ancient religions mod, which this was based on and is nearly identical to. If it's the same then it should be under honorary titles, as others are, but it isn't there. Am I making a mistake?
Playing as a Norse patrician (founded a republic, lost election), ultimately vassal to the king of Sweden, starting in the new millennium bookmark, I was previously able to do matrilineal marriages and then suddenly I was not anymore, not even within my own court. The only thing that I changed on my own end between these two periods was that I increased the status of women in my court, from expanded to marshals.
Anyone has any idea of what may have happened?
Why does my CA drop from high to low upon death/abdication? I am playing as Byzantium in old gods start, still as Baselisu I, who also somehow got renamed Konstantinos VII(bug?).
Edit: also I disinherited on my oldest born in purple son, does that have anything to do with it?
If Charlemagne manages to form the HRE, will his courtiers also be able to acquire said traits?
If I form a new empire by decision, will my player-made empire's courtiers have access to those traits?
If, as a norse ruler, my son joins the Varangian Guard is there a chance for him to gain one of those traits while in Constantinople?
Also spy networks. How do they even work?
Why aren't the Chalcedonian Patriarchs numbered?
I'm on the third Patriarch Stephanus of Rome, bu he's not Stephanus III.
Are thy numbered in title history?
Did the matrimonial marriage stuff get taken out? Because I can not find it to marry off my daughters.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Why can't I matrilineally marry [insert situation]?
A: Both you and the target's liege must have at least Agnatic-Cognatic gender laws to matrilineally marry. If one or both parties are Agnatic it is not possible.
The names and coats of arms exhibited ingame when you click in "History" in the Title screen, right?
Nope, the Popes of the Papal States are not numbered on that list either, while the Patriarchs of Constantinople and Antioch appear numbered on their respective titles History to make things even stranger (the Patriarchy of Jerusalem is recent on my current game, so it hadn't any recurring name yet), but I haven't looked if they do so in their character screens while alive.
