Denmark was your puppet when you declared war on Norway. Puppets go to war with you even if it is a limited DOW..

So basically, if I want to keep a puppet out of war, it has to be the last/most recent thing I declare war on. I'm okay with how it worked out, because I'd rather have Norway be at peace (and not have to guard all that coast) than Denmark, which I can secure with a couple of corps.

so I was told that once I registered my game I would gain access to multiplayer forum and games... I registered TFH, and do not have access yet.... do I need to register all 4 games(well the vanilla and 3 expansions) before I have access to those features?

Hey.

Playing as USA. Trying to automize a few things as I am relatively new to the game.

My auto trade keeps setting up trading networks with the Axis which I do not want. I understand that I can not embargo them at an early stage of the war (not entered yet) but the most annoying thing about this is that it keeps setting up incoming SUPPLY trades.

I'm stockpiled at 99,999 and am capable of producing more if required. I simply do not want or need any more supplies.

The only way I can work out how to stop it is to take control but as the USA I have a lot of trades taking place and do not want to manage it this closely. At the moment I am going in every few days to remove the SUPPLY trade.

Interestingly and despite being max stocked I having no outgoing SUPPLY trades.

Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Regards

LEe

I can't seem to access the name editor when I have multiple units selected. Am I missing something?
Select all HQs, put them in group 1 (ctrl+1), select the top one, rename it. Select group 1 (1), select the second from the top, rename it. Rinse and repeat until all is in accordance with your OCD. Too much work? Nobody is making you do it.

Playing as USA. Trying to automize a few things as I am relatively new to the game.
USA is scripted to buy supplies before the war. Since it has plenty of resources, if it just sells those resources everyone else will not have enough money to buy them after a little while. Hence USA buys supplies, to send money back. Axis are the ones that need resources - else they would not need to start a war. Hence they are the ones short on money, hence they are the ones to sell supplies. Don't like it? Cancel those trades repeatedly, or do not automate trade. It is WAD.
If you are buying a resource, you are not allowed to sell it. Designed to prevent the player from accumulating money for nothing (buying on the cheap, selling for a profit), since AI cannot do it and its basically cheating. Sell someone some supplies, and incoming supply trades should stop, as long as you are exporting those supplies.

Another quick one. If I want to sell something to someone do I need to offer them to sell or to buy? I can't work the slider out.
Sliders are from your perspective. You want to sell, so sell.
Easy way to figure it out - go to someone producing an abundance of something domestically (UK and rares for example), and play around. If you buy - they are willing, if you sell - they don't want extra.

Are you willing to spend more then you earn? No, and neither does the AI. It will not approve a deal that will put it below $0.1/day income. It will not buy, if it feels that it has enough of the resource (scripted). It will not sell, if it is already buying the resource. If will not sell supplies, if it does not need money. You have to be aggressive trading early on, to have effects.
