I'm looking for some links that have the construction tables for all units and also, if possible, the terrain modifiers.

I really don't want to load the game up whilst I'm reading.

Im havin a problem with anchsluss of Austria.

First of all, i cant invite them to faction because difference between their neutrality and the highest treat is too high. Value 98, needs to be lower than 25.
Other point is that NSDAP org. has to be atleast 40(mine is almost 70) OR pop above 40, which i have 48(%)? but both points are still red. And also what is -Have a modifier Political Crisis in Austria? (also red)
It it peace time and time is past 1march 1938.

Im confused.

E: And also how to lose neutrality? Is the only possible way increasing threat?
E2: Okey, Ive annexed austria now.

re: Anschluss. You need to reoccupy the Rhineland in 1936. The tooltip concerning NSDAP, is talking about the Austrian NSDAP, not the German one. The best way to achieve this, is by sending spies to Austria from day 1 with the mission to improve the standing of "our party". This will (usually) make the AUSTRIAN NSDAP popular enough that you can trigger it before 1938. You can also achieve the Anschluss by doing nothing; in the spring of 1938, Austria will have a political crisis. You can trigger the Anschluss then as well.

re: neutrality. Yeah, pretty much. You take your biggest neighbour (France works well, so does the USSR) and increase threat there. I don't think there is a whole lot more you can do to lower it. There are some events, but they are mostly for Germany specifically.

There are some events, but they are mostly for Germany specifically.
If you've got 30 or less effective IC, you'll get a neutrality decreasing decision - even IC-Monsters like the Yanks can make it there.
What would be most effective defence troops?
Division composition? That's far too complex, situation- and playstyle-dependent to answer in a QQ/QA thread. People can fill a dozen pages discussing if engineers are a good choice as part of a armoured formation or not.
For example to defend from soviets.
As Germany you're asked to attack the Soviets - not to fend them off. Peaceful nazis are a exercise for people who conquered the world as Portugal.

There used to be a trick where you let your dissent grow to the point where you can enact the decision Shierholzer is talking about, but I don't know if that still works. I have never used it, myself, because there is a very real risk of not having enough IC left to pull out of the downward spiral. Does anyone know?

It still works perfectly fine, at least for Japan and Italy without getting close to danger. Picking the worst industry law is mandatory for this ofc. Then let dissent grow until you fall below 30 effective IC. Guess it also works for US, but haven't tried. Don't need to mention that it's very gamey to do this on majors.

Soviet union decided to declare war on me and im not prepared for it, im on england atm. So what the hell should i do? I've invaded poland and baltic states, maybe i should pull back and defend from some better place?

Assuming you are Germany, and getting spanked by the Soviets, defend at the Vistula River (the one at Warsaw and Danzig) until your troops return from England. If the Soviets are not pushing, then don't retreat. You are unlikely to be overrun by AI, so retreating later should always be an option. Hold a bridgehead somewhere to counterattack once you can (maybe Torun, where you have cores).

You do realize you more or less called SM a nutter right there, don't you? I am not necessarily saying you are incorrect, but it was kinda impolitic to say it right out. :p

Seriously, though, Defensive stance has its pros and cons and is also a sane choice. It keeps your subs on station and on mission a higher percentage of the time, at the expense of requiring you to spend more on replacements. I usually prefer Passive stance myself, but I have dabbled with Defensive and found it also workable, provided I was not overly strained on IC.

If Defensive is feasible for advanced players is mostly a question of tech - how good are your subs in hiding and how good is the enemy to find you. In multiplayer or late singleplayer games Defensive (and even Aggressive) become feasible cause subs cannot hide anymore, SM should be advanced enough to judge that correctly - a bloody beginner will most likely sink his navy for little return. Passive might yield less sunk cargo later on, but is far less risky as well.

I started a invasion of the UK. Everything went right, occupied ca. 50% of main land but now im having a ****** supply problem.
I have made convoys of suppy to the uk, but it does not help, UK is now striking back and my men escaping. Thats why i hate attacing oversea countries in HoI3.

What should i do?
