Playing SF 2.04d as Russians; I have paratroops "stuck" on a British island and have found no way to get them off.
If you have a transport ship in a seazone adjacent to the island, can you Ctrl + right click your paras onto the transport?
SemperFi 2.04d Air Supply to neutral province
Russia 1942: at war with all Axis powers; not allied with allied power, no allied basing or transit rights
I initiated a ground attack in eastern Russia against Japanese/Manchurian forces. Allied forces (Brit/American and indigenous)
are in eastern China - north west of Korea - attacking due east into south western Manchuria.
My axis of attack was to send 10 divisions of a 25 division army group, sliding south along the western border of Manchuria.
Purpose: to cut off the retreat of Axis forces fleeing the primary attack of the remaining 15 divisions. The primary attack
originates at north Manchuria and is pointed south/southeast.
Problem: By the time the 10 divisions sliding south along west manchuria arrived, some of the provinces their path took
them through were under allied control (allies are pushing due east from China). The russian forces continued along their
original path - permitted to enter or pass through allied territory, I assume under the "co-belligerent" rule (?). But as soon
as these forces entered the first allied province - their chain of supply stopped.
(1) does my supply train follow my forces into/through "neutral territory ? {or are they cut off ?}
(2) attempts to resupply by air (LARGE number of air transports) have produced zero re-supply.
Transport planes just sit at their base showing "air-supply" tasking, status: "waiting".
Am I allowed to air-drop supply into neutral territory ?
The HQs in HoI2 were just bogus compared to what you've got in HoI3. Now, you actually have a command hierarchy (also known as an Order of Battle, or OOB)! And that's daunting, I know. The only thing left to figure out is how to work with HQs. TBH, I never got the hang of it in HOI2, so I had to use the rather unproductive tactic of putting a HQ in each army.
No.Also, uh, is there anything like escort fighters in this game ? (I have Semper Fi...I think...)
It varies, but it seldom goes above 4 divisions per front province. Even in Europe, you might find yourself with, or facing, only one division per province.I have a less clear cut question. In HOI3, what is the average density of the front ? In HOIone or HOItwo, I was trying to get six, nine, or twelve divisions per frontline province, but obviously here it's not going to work....
Defend? An island? With marines!?So, if I want to defend pacific Islands against the Japanese, something like one division is going to be enough ? (Four Marines Brigade and one Engineer brigade)
Hi, my problem is simple. In the end (1948) i choosed to continue. But game time is frozen and i am unable to continue in the game. The game is forever paused. Help please.

Really stupid question here but how do i make my units circle the enemies city?
See how this guy did it to the city at the bottom; http://www.paradoxian.org/hoi3wiki/File:Heeresgruppe-sud.jpg
Whenever I try to get my units to go round and attack from the back they just go straight through the city.
Can I make them go a custom route somehow?
