I need a clou about unemployment. I have a state (e.g. Mecklenburg) as the North German Federation without any employees. The whole economy did not employ a single worker and i do not figure out, how to encourage the facilities to hire someone. The whole state has around 200k population.
I assume that the wage are too small compared to other peer industries in others states..

Yes it has full market access and the various goods are affordable. compared to my other states it has a very low population and according to that just a hand full of labours. The second state in same condition is elbe and as far as i see the labours are also not the top pop group.

It happened twice already, I am clearly winning a war, and the enemy is taking 2x war exhaustion than me. However, at some point, for some reason (usually a naval invasions going bad), I can't open any new front.

Their war support gets to 0, and it stays there, until I manage to open a new front. Mine, however, keeps getting down.

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Afaik war support can't go below 0 unless capital or war goal is occupied. So if you can't take the war goal/capital, it won't go below 0. Yours is dropping because of attrition etc.

sounds silly for me to suggest. But have you tried using the decree to increase imigration? (+50% immigration).
It will increase SOL value +50% for the purpose of immigattion.

Usually pops will not go to "poor" states unless.
A) Sol in the other state is much better compared to his own state.
B) Unemployed. (so he can get a better sol anywhere else).

So for low pop states might actually be better to build High Paying jobs so the SOL of the state goes sky high and start to bring more people there.
After finally you attract immigrants you use the poor paying jobs that will reduce the SOL a little, but not enough to stop the trend upwards.

You probably have the National Milita army law. Change it to something else.

Got indeed the same idea for the decreet. Meanwhile the population increased to nearly 250k without any effect. I've built different types of buildings. The only full employed buildings are the barracks.
Im confident that my economy is lacking workforce overall and mecklenburg/elbe are the most unattractive states. I'll play a bit around next week and maybe i'll just drop all buildings and start from the scratch.

Am I going to have to pay the bureaucratic cost of every single German state as I form NGF and Germany proper? Or will events fire to incorporate them for free?

Cause if I have to pay the cost myself, I guess I better start building government buildings now...

While writing up this question I figured out my answer. Thought I'd post it anyway, just in case anyone else is as confused as I was.

Been playing as tutorial Chile for a bit, I'm still a Minor Power. Brazil is also a Minor Power. But Brazil has 5 strategic interests and I still only have 1. Why?

Naval bases are the answer. Brazil has 29 naval bases and I assume they're working properly, unlike my 7 that I can't keep stocked with Man-0-Wars. ;) Each naval base gives a fraction of a Strategic Interest point. So they get a bunch, and I'm sitting sad at 1.5 points. For now....

Anyway, thanks for the thread!

Does anyone know how to get a quick visual for infrastructure needs? There doesn't seem to be a lens. I was thinking of enabling autocomplete railroad but it doesn't seem to be driven by infrastructure need and instead cash reserves.

Thank you in advance.

I don't think there's a visual indicator. None that I can find. Maybe someone will correct me if that's wrong. But I did see that if you pin "States" to your outliner, the tooltip as you go over each has a pretty easy to see net infrastructure number. Still really clunky, if you have a lot of states especially, but better than having to click into each state's information panel and looking at the numbers there, imo.

Hello. According to the description of Command Economy law a player should be obligatory subsidizing all businesses. However, once I adopted this law all my businesses were not subsidized automatically, i.e. I had to click on subsidize button regarding each business. Also once I started subsidizing I could not stop doing it (this option was greyed out). [...]
Known issue, should hopefukky be fixed soon (tm) (R).

Sounds like you managed to get some sort of edge cases where factories decide they can't afford to hire anyone.
If you can subsidize buildings try to do that, it might adjust the state-wide paid wages.

Either way - best to make a report including a save so our designers can look into the situation and fix any potential issue.

What is the prerequisite to begin building a Skyscraper? It's not grayed out in the construction menu but the number of states I can build it in is 0.
You need to survey a site via the related decision.

As Belgium i'm limited to 5 barracks in Wallonia and 5 barracks in Flanders, the game doesn't allow me to build more. What can I do to have more barracks?
Your military laws dictate the max number of barracks.
Limit 5 sounds like you are running National Militia.

How to launch expeditions?
Journal Entry tab -> Decisions subtab

Thank you in advance.
Open the Trade Lens and select Railways for construction.
At medium-to-close zoom level the game will show an on-map indicator on every state lacking Market Access, hovering over it will show you the INFRA deficit, allowing you to plan how many Railways you need (rule of thumb: T1: +20 INFRA, T1 + Passenger Cars: +15, T2: +30, T2 + PC: +25).
