I'm fairly sure this is wrong - due to a bug, the innovation appears as disabled, but you should still gain the benefits.

It's not a bug, it's the game feature.

Thanks for confirm this. LOL

I had finished that run and don't want to start another Norse Asatru until MR expansion is back, or the culture split event has more content.

It's designed so that any unlocked innovations are kept, and it's been confirmed a bug that the unlocked innovations appear as if they were blocked (for instance, due to the player creating the Normal culture) if the conditions to research that innovation are no longer met - it is not intended for these innovations to be lost, and last I played in any length (which I admit, was in the previous patch), I was well able to benefit from West African Canoes with my Swedish culture, with no counties of my culture anywhere near West Africa.

Is the name of the "blocked" innovation green? If yes, it is not blocked. Is it just faded out? If yes, that means you no longer meet the requirements to progress in that innovation. You do not need to meet the requirements for progression to have it.

Some new questions

1. Above the discussion, the shown of long boat innovation inactive is the bug after the Norse culture split, it is actually able to use.
The question is: Can the Norman culture have active long boat innovation after Establish Norman Culture decision?
The wiki page said the Norman culture will have all the French and Norse innovation, but in game the long boat innovation is shown as inactive.
Is it the same bug as the 'Norse culture split'?

2. About the Revive Táltosism & Promote Christian Settlements decision.
I want to sure that can the player Revive the old faith after promote Christian settlement decision?
There is a 'No cross' picture at the requirement of these two decision on ck3 wiki page and said 'did not Promote Christian Settlements’, it makes me confuse about the requirement.
It seems the same character can not revive the old faith after settlement bcs of the complex requirement, can the next or future character of same run do this decision?

3. About the holy order MAA,
The wiki page said ‘the religion determines which men-at-arms its holy orders will favor’ and the MAA of Islamic holy order is the Cataphracts on the 'Religion' page.
And on the 'Hired Army' page, it said the grandmaster will follow the founder's culture and religion.
And in game, MAA of Christian holy order is Order Knight.
MAA of Islamic holy order which is found by Persian culture ruler is Ayyr, the Persian culture men-at-arm, it's not the Cataphracts.
MAA of Asatru holy order with NL DLC is the pirate regiment, and in that save the holy order MAA combine with one or two group of Konni rider, the south Slavic culture MAA. On wiki page, it said MAA of Asatru is Huscarls.
Is the wiki page outdate or the men-at-arm actually follow the holy order grandmaster's culture?

4. Where to post the game shit impressions and complain or suggestion on this forum?

If you're a holder of two kingdoms, are their succession run by separate laws? As a king of Czech I conquered Hungary, but I cannot setup different succession laws for two kingdoms. Isn't peculiar?

Go to the title in question, and in bottom of the screen you will see buttons "Destroy" "Grant" "Add Laws". Last one changes the succession law, if you are able to implement any elective laws.

I wanted to start a new game and start in the county I actually live in. This would be the county of "Baden" in the southern part of east francia.

Now in 867 the county of Baden is the capital of the kingdom of east francia. But in reality it never was... in 867 "Ludwig II." was ruler of east francia and he had "no capital" but he was more connected to "Frankfurt" and "Regensburg".

Does anybody know why this was chosen this way?

Because... in terms of game mechanics, no realm can exist without a capital... and of course "paradox reasons"

Maybe they've chosen Baden, cause... hm, well, "some" german rulers like the Staufers had land down there?
Don't know either.

I am at least glad, my home region, the county of Nassau including my hometown of Solms is available to play!

Some native words lastly:
Ich hab echt keinen Plan - die Karlings nutzen nicht mal die "move realm capital here because de jure" Funktion für Frankfurt

what happens if i change to a different culture, create mma troops which only that culture has and then i switch back to my previous culutre. can i keep those mma troops?
Yes, you don't lose any specific troops when switching cultures, even if you do so multiple times. I believe MAAs regiments are tied to titles so you might lose them if you lose your primary title.

whats the best way to weaken the mongols? everytime i murder the mongol ruler the successor starts with 30k special troops
Keep murdering them, after a number of succession they'll break apart and leave behind a bunch of weak successor states that are eaten alive by their vassals.
